Central Energy Trust Wildbase Recovery is a collaboration between Palmerston North City Council and Massey University. We provide shelter and care for native wildlife to rehabilitate after treatment at Massey’s Wildbase Hospital.

Where appropriate, external links have been provided for the user’s convenience. Central Energy Trust Wildbase Recovery values your privacy and is committed to protecting any information that you supply us. The personal information obtained will be used for CET Wildbase Recovery purposes only and will be used to communicate with you about our work.

We meet high standards and use a range of methods to keep your information as safe as possible.


Content within this site exists for the use of CET Wildbase Recovery Staff and Volunteers only. Included within this site is some embedded content to external sources, and content visible to the public within the CET Wildbase Recovery facility, though its presentation within this site is not for sharing. You may not copy, download or print material for sharing with people outside of CET Wildbase Recovery staff or Volunteers.


If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF, GPS) included. Other users with access to this website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

This information is processed through Google Analytics and is used to inform enhancing your experience at CET Wildbase Recovery.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
